 APPOINTMENTS 

We recommend that you reserve your appointment times in advanced to ensure you are getting the time, stylist, and services you prefer. Our stylists tend to book 2-6 weeks or more in advance. 

Our haircutting and coloring appointments are charged based on the time needed to achieve the desired outcomes.  We itemize our color costs separately.  Not all services require the same costs. 

 

SALON SCALE

 You will see a line item called Salon Scale on your invoice for coloring and keratin services.  We weigh all of our color and charge based on what we use for your individual service.  This price is varied based on product used and the quantity of the product needed to perform your service.  Not all guest or service visits will be the same.  Our color costs per service range anywhere from $6.00-$55.00 per service.  We think it is super cool and a way to make sure all of our prices based on your unique service!

CREDIT CARDS

 We require a card to be placed securely on-file for all first-time customers. We do not require deposits for services however, we do charge for “no show” on reserved appointments.  We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express and Cash for payments. 

 

 OUR CANCELLATION POLICY

  Your appointments are very important to the team members of Area 4 Hair Salon.  It is reserved especially for you.  We understand that in life, unexpected issues do arise that make it necessary to adjust scheduled appointments; therefore, we respectfully request at least 48-hour notice for cancelations.  Please understand that when you forget to cancel your appointment without giving us enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time and clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services.  Our appointments are confirmed 4 business days in advance because we know how easy it is to forget an appointment you booked, possibly months prior. Since appointments are booked for you personally, a cancellation fee will apply. 

 All appointments are reserved with a credit card and a signed copy of the cancellation policy safely on file.  Any policies not signed within 48 hours before, can be cancelled. 

 “NO-SHOWS” and “CONFIRMED APPOINTMENTS” that no show will be charged 100% of the reserved service amount.  

 Appointments that are made on the same day, need to be cancelled or are considered a “NO SHOW”. You will be charged 100% of the reserved service amount if not cancelled.  

 

 CONFIRMATION CALLS

 Our automated system will contact you to confirm your service appointment 4 business days before your appointment date.  

 It is imperative that you confirm your appointment via email, text, or phone call.  

We will make every attempt to reach you for confirmation.  Please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times to avoid late arrivals, missed appointments and the cancellation fee. 

 

 SERVICES

 We want you to be happy with the service you receive and to love your hair.  We know that sometimes things do not always go the way we want them to.  In the event that you are unhappy with your hair, we ask that you contact us within 14 days to make it right.  We do not offer refunds on services. 

 

RETAIL PRODUCTS

 It is important that you have the right products at home to take care of your hair.  If a product is not meeting your needs, we offer a product exchange.  We will happily exchange it for any of our other products in the salon.  Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on any used/opened brushes or styling tools. 

 

TREAT CARDS

 Upon your fist visit, we will ask you if you would like to be a part of our treat card program.  If yes, you will be presented a card with your treat card number.  All you need to do is present your treat card during check out.

 Ways to earn points: 

  •             1 point per service dollar spent

    •   Double when service is pre-booked 

  •             2 points per retail dollar spent

  •             50 points for every guest referral

We will let you know when you have reached a redemption level and what your reward selections are.
